Revenge Tie-In LG Versa & N.E.S.T. Site Now Online w/ Never-Before-Seen Pics

Continuing LG and Paramount Pictures' partnership, the phone maker has launched the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen tie-in website featuring games and exclusive content.

The website puts you in the shoes of a Nonbiological Extraterrestrial Species Team (N.E.S.T.) is quite robust, with two cell phone games, which ties together a phone call while playing on the website.

There is exclusive content, too, with free ringtones, wallpapers, head shots of certain robots and shots of NEST vehicles and team members, Major Lennox (Josh Duhamel), and Master Sergant Epps (Tyrese Gibson).

There is also a rather humorous video tying in the phone and Revenge. The site will also host a sweepstakes contest, which begins on June 8th.

You can sign up for an email update to be reminded of the sweepstakes.

LG previously unveiled a Transformers-themed LG Versa earlier this year.

Thanks for the picture links. Much appreciated! I have found and downloaded a "media access" plugin for firefox that allows it to access shoddily designed websites such as the one we have been discussing here. Thus, Ive managed to download the ringtones, screensavers and even the intro vids!

Ill post the vid clips at youtube later but here are the screen savers (not hard to post with the other pics, though, eh TFormers?)

- Starscream

- Megatron

- Ironhide

As for the ringtones, well they dont need to be torrents. How about just uploaded to TFormers? We can access them as mp3 files as a quicktime page type of file?

I hope they make a Deluxe with that NEST vehicle.

The site worked fine for me in Firefox 3.

I mirrored images that we haven't seen before because I figured it'd be a lot better for people to just read, and look.

I'm not going to create a torrent of the ringtones, wallpaper, or anything like that. I'm sorry, I don't have the time.

Thanks for the advice about Chrome.

However, I DID try it with Google Chrome last night before I read your help. The site crashed the browser after freezing it due to lazy programming and too much needless fluff/graphics etc.

Furthermore I have every right to "complain" about links. After all, why does TFormers post "mirrored images" to other site's contents? Because those sites might be swamped by too many requests. Mirrored images helps people access online content that they might not have been able to otherwise.

Many people have different browsers. Its well known that "official" sites rarely work well and most net savvy peeps turn to unofficial sites for all "true" news and facts about this or that. Also, some people around the world may not be able to view said content due to "regional blocks". Not everyone is an "American Internet Explorer User", you see.

That's why sites like TFormers will always be more popular than transformers.com

Thus, I stand by what I have said. It would be nice if someone here could take all the free (legal) content offered by the site and similar sites and have it available at TFormers. I still have the free ringtones from the last films viral websites, like that sector 7 site. Id be happy to dig them up and add them to the folder or file.

BTW: the link from the main page to this forum didn't work. I had to go here manually and then I couldnt "reply" directly to the above post. Kept getting a blank page.

Ok, I understand what you're saying, but you can't just expect people to go set up a torrent like that, just because you have issues. Aside from that, just like you said, these site work best with IE generally. So why would TFormers go through all the work to set up a torrent, when they can just post a link?

Site doesnt work with FireFox 3. If I use scriptblocker to actually block the site I can see some words, but with the eite allowed by scriptblocker then the site is just one black screen.

Firefox is getting lamer and lamer these days or coders are getting cr@pper and cr@pper at coding sites (or as its an "official" site, they purposely have made the site work only with Explorer due to corporate brown-nosing with MS?)

Could someone copy all the files worth getting and then create a torrent or rapid share/megaupload link please?

Cheers!

Why not switch browsers or try disabling some extensions, instead of complaining and making requests that people cater to your needs every time someone posts something? :P

If you don't want to use IE, and need a recommendation, the site works fine on Google Chrome.
