SDCC 2012 - Transformers Fall of Cybertron Will Have Dinobots & Insecticons In Multiplayer Customization; DLC Already Planned

Transformers Fall of Cybertron players will be able to customize their character in multiplayer with both Dinobot and Insecticon pieces, Game Director Matt "Tieg" Tieger told us on the day of our multiplayer and campaign previews.

Mr. Tieger was unable to elaborate, but he knows that some pieces of Dinobots, including Grimlock and possibly some of the other team members, as well as some of the Insecticons, will be able to be added to a player's custom character.

As the player earns more experience in campaign and multiplayer modes, additional pieces will be unlocked in the game.

Players are able to choose the body class (Infiltrator, Scientist, Titan, and Destroyer) and then outfit the character with different arms, legs, and head, as well as change the colors of the bot. The voice is also customizable.

Mr. Tieger also says that downloadable content (DLC) is already being developed for Fall of Cybertron for a later date, but could not discuss specifics at the time.

Transformers Fall of Cybertron hits stores on August 21, 2012 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the PC.
