Shia Says Dark of the Moon is His Last Transformers Movie - Part 4 Reboot Coming?

So much for that overflowing confidence about Transformers Dark of the Moon from Shia LaBeouf. He's just announced his decision to jump ship after part three of the franchise. According to MTV news sources Shia has stated "I'm not coming back to do another one..." and has gone on to state what Mr Bay is done dancing with robots too. We knew that Bay was done a couple times now. But losing Sam is pretty serious stuff.

"For sure," [Shia] replied, when asked if it was really his last turn as Sam. "I'm not coming back to do another one. I don't think Mike [director Michael Bay] will either. It still is a hot property, I think, especially coming out of the third one. So I imagine they'll reboot it at some point with someone else."

What's a little bit hard to understand is even now Shia is calling this the best of the three films. If things are just coming together, why is everyone running away from this franchise? Lebeouf goes on about the new film:
"[It's] the best movie we've made, I'm serious," he said. "It's not a joke. I'm dead honest, man. I get myself in trouble all the time, but this is our best instalment. It's our best movie."

I cannot help but sense a bit of regret in his comments. As if he is making excuses already. Calling this the best of three does not mean the same as this is a great movie, although he did emphasize that what worked great in Transformers has been incorporated into this film. We will have to wait and see on June 29th what he means.
