Star Wars Crossovers
Star Wars Crossovers Darth Vader and Saesee Tiin Transformers Bios and Images
Jack Q - Friday, September 02, 2011

Hasbro has posting an offical product page for the Star Wars Transformers Darth Vader that transforms into the Sith Fighter as well as Saesee Tiin’s that transforms into a Jedi starfighter. Both products are listed with their character bio summary as well as images of the figures in robot and fighter modes as well as on the front of the cards. Check out the full details and share your comments after the jump?

Darth Vader to Sith Fighter

Darth Vader’s starfighter blasts his enemies in a fierce space battle. Using the Force, the fighter is converted into a menacing mech that confronts attackers on the ground.

This fierce figure is more than his enemies could possibly guess! In mech mode, your DARTH VADER figure comes with two lightsabers, one for each fist. But when it’s time for a change of tactics, convert him to vehicle mode to chase down his fleeing opponents! It’s the intergalactic action of Star Wars and the converting action of TRANSFORMERS in one awesome figure!

Figure comes with lightsaber accessories.

Saesee Tiin to Jedi Starfighter

Fueled by the power of the Force, Saesee Tiin’s Jedi starfighter races through space toward his next mission, then converts into mech mode to strike the battle droid army.

This fierce figure is more than his enemies could possibly guess! In mech mode, your SAESEE TIIN figure comes with two lightsabers, one for each fist. But when it’s time for a change of tactics, convert him to vehicle mode to chase down his fleeing opponents! It’s the intergalactic action of Star Wars and the converting action of TRANSFORMERS in one awesome figure!

Figure comes with lightsaber accessories.

Eep... these are worse than their original versions. :/ The originals may have been retools/repaints of Obiwan, but they were better moulds because they weren't as shellformerrific. Blah, easy pass.

I have the obiwan version of the jedi star fighter, and its pretty cool, dont care for the head scuplt on this one though. Vader is a pass.

Meh. Vader looks too squat. Seasee looks relatively decent, but I can't get past the head sculpt.

This mash-up of Transformers and Star Wars gives the Millennium Falcon the ability to split apart and transform into Han Solo and Chewbacca robots! Robot Han can be armed with his blaster pistol while Chewbacca has his bowcaster. Mini figures of Han and Chewbacca are also included. Estimated to arrive June 2018.
Via a TaoBao seller, we now have the first color images of the Star Wars Powered By Transformers Millennium Falcon! As with the old Star Wars Crossovers figures, the Falcon splits into Han Solo and Chewbacca figures. However, this time we're able to say with much greater certainty that this is an all-new design. Keep reading to see the old and new Falconbots!
TakaraTomy has published a new video to their website detailing the transformation of the Star Wars Powered By Transformers Darth Vader TIE Fighter! The figure looks good and looks to have a decently involving but not difficult transformation. We can't embed the video here, so click through for a link!
Autobase Aichi has posted new images of the Star Wars Powered By Transformers Darth Vader's TIE Fighter figure due out this coming March! These are probably the best-quality images we've seen so far of the final, full-color product. The figure is definitely better-looking than the original version of this concept - though until someone who owns that version has this in-hand, the jury is out on how much of that tooling has been reused. Keep reading for the photos! You can pre-order this now at BigBadToyStore.com.
Indeed, "Star Wars Powered By Transformers" appears to be the staggeringly unweildy line name for the new iteration of Star Wars Transformers. Toys R Us Japan has added a product page for Darth Vader TIE Advanced featuring out first color images of the toy. Naturally it sticks to mainly grey, favoring the vehicle colors, but the Vader chest piece and helmet do add a bit of the needed black. The Toys R Us page notes a retail release of April 2nd and a slightly reduced price of 4,999 Yen, or about $45. Keep reading to see the photos!
