Transformers Steampunk Comic Series Original Concept by Ted McKeever

We fondly remember the Transformers: Hearts of Steel mini-series drawn by Guido Guidi. However, according to Chris Ryall, IDW was originally looking at artist Ted McKeever to draw the Transformers steampunk era comic series. Thanks to Chris who recently shared this concept artwork on Twitter by Ted McKeever, we can see what it may have looked like.

Thinking back over all the Hasbro-related comics and stories over my time at IDW, I'm remembering the time I almost got Ted McKeever to do a steampunk-era Transformers series. That woulda really been something based on the one piece of art he created for it.
