Transformers Studio Series 38 'Bumblebee Movie' Optimus Prime New In Hand Images

Youtube channel TonTon Review has shared a pair of high resolution photos of the upcoming Voyager Optimus Prime based on the brief appearance in Bumblebee. Easily our best view yet of the robot mode, this photo shows a lot of the figure's detail, especially around the face - something that had not been very clearly visible in previous photography.

But the big surprise is the photo of the rear of the vehicle mode. Seen alongside MP-10 Convoy and Age of Extinction Evasion Mode Optimus Prime, not only is the semicab looking very well proportioned and detailed, it's every bit as large as the 2014 Voyager toy's vehicle mode. Pending detailed in hand reports or video reviews, we're still left waiting for a potential other shoe to drop, but right now this is looking like one of the best Optimus Prime toys to come along in a while, movie toy or not.

We've cropped in on the photos to better focus in on the new Optimus; you can find those as the last three images in the gallery after the copies of the original versions of the photos.
