A small batch of new product pages on Walmart's website is giving us our first info about some yet-to-be-revealed Studio Series toys. Unfortunately there are no images of the toys so far, but all of the new listings should be pretty familiar to movie series fans.
First up is the non-surprise, which is a listing for Leader class Overload, the second of two Leader-size components in the ongoing Studio Series Devastator project after the already-shown Scavenger.
Along with that are three new Deluxes! The Wreckers from Dark of The Moon will be joining the Studio Series lineup starting with Roadbuster. For those who have trouble remembering who was who, Roadbuster was the green "Amp Energy" car.
Then we've got two new entries from the Bumblebee Movie: A Deluxe Jeep Bumblebee is on the way, based on Bumblebee's first Earth alt-mode scan during his short battle with StarscreamBlitzwing.
Finally, answering the call for alt mode completion from a number of collectors, we're going to see a jet mode Shatter hitting shelves! As Shatter's car mode figure was considered more than a little underwhelming, a second try at the character may be a very welcome bit of news. Hopefully it will also feature a more screen-accurate robot face, where the existing Studio Series Shatter was based on earlier design concepts.
There's no indication at all of when these figures are expected to be released. A Deluxe wave with Mercedes Soundwave, World War II Hot Rod, Concept Camaro Bumblebee, and the three pack of Arcee, Elita, and Chromia is expected a little later this year, so these listings may represent the first assortment for 2020.
