Takara to Release Masterpiece MP-12A Red Alert, MP-13 Soundwave In December - UPDATED

Tformers sponsor TFsource has let us know that Takara Tomy's Transformers Masterpiece MP-13 is Soundwave! The retailer has also told us that MP-12A will be Red Alert.

Both of the figures are set for a December 2012 release with Soundwave's tentative pricepoint as $159.95 $154.95 and Red Alert for $99.95 $94.95 [pricepoints have dropped since the original report -ed].

Soundwave was teased earlier this week in two Japanese magazines, showing only the silhouette of the figure.

While a full view of the figure is still yet to be seen, TFsource has learned that these two figures are indeed coming. The current prices are ballparks with official price points being revealed in June.

If you do pre-order at this time, you will be charged the adjusted price and not the price as of this writing.

The next Masterpiece MP-12 Lambor (Sideswipe) is set for a Fall release.
