The miserable distribution of the Deluxe pricepoint of Transformers The Last Knight Premier Edition has probably left you feeling little hope of seeing the tail-end new mold Cogman available for purchase in a store or online without buying a case assortment of things you might already have - or simply don't want - along with it. The TakaraTomy release of the figure, solicited for the end of October then seemed like a good safety net, provided you were able to get a preorder while they were available. A notice has appeared on TakaraTomy's Transformers catalog site, stating simply that the release of Cogman, planned for late October, has been postponed. No reason is given for the delay, nor is a new date announced. More disturbingly, both the product page there and on TakaraTomy Mall have been completely removed. It seems a drastic step to take if the toy were only to be delayed a month or two. At present, we know that a production run of Cogman has taken place for Hasbro, and that has been released in the parts of Asia Hasbro markets to. But beyond that it feels more and more like the future of, and the odds of seeing this toy elsewhere in the world is growing more and more faint.
