There's blood in the water, and that's got everyone on the hunt. With the first leak of code named The Last Knight retail products, more digging has been prompted, and the latest find is a list of apparent Toys R Us exclusives for the movie line. Three Movie Masterpieces are found, indicating at least two besides the Bumblebee revealed yesterday. Other assortments are indicated as well, including some surprising reveals! We have the full list below, with shots of the inventory screens, so keep reading! Prime135 on TFW dug these items out of the Toys R Us computers, so let's take a look at what's coming!
All Spark Starter Pack $39.99
Likely indicates a newly developed play pattern for this movie line.
"MV5 MSTRPC2 JPITER" Masterpiece 'Jupiter' $99.99
Masterpiece 'Mars' $79.99
Masterpiece 'Saturn' $79.99
From these listings it may be safe to interpret that Jupiter is the codename for Optimus Prime, who is likely to be the biggest most expensive Movie Masterpiece. Jupiter is also one of the wave 1 Voyagers from the prior leak, and again Optimus is likely to be in the lead assortments of the TLK toyline. Mars is probably Bumblebee, based again on the earlier product listing where Mars is a first wave Deluxe. Saturn is in the regular line in Deluxe wave 3, so its identity remains concealed.
Power Cube Figure $14.99
This may have some connection to the All Spark Starter Pack listed above. The inventory sheet on them have the Power Cube Figure marked as C3367, and the All Spark Starter Pack as C3368. Consecutive numbers like this often denote related products, in this case possibly related by style of play pattern if not the typical case assortment connection. And "Power Cube" is an accurate enough basic description of the movie's All Spark.
Five Bot Figure Combiner "N" Slug $34.99
The naming scheme suggests a combiner set that also includes a Slug figure, though there's little or nothing that we can surmise about the particular nature of the toy. If it's a five part combiner as well as an additional figure at this price, it seems most likely the combining part will be designed to be slaved in to that purpose, possibly not themselves being full transforming toys at all.
TF5 Deluxe Figure $19.99
Obvious enough, it's a Deluxe assortment. Notably everything listed is marked with an EX prefix which I presume means exclusives, thus this would be a Toys R Us exclusive wave of Deluxes. Whether it is or not, don't be shocked by the price listed - remember we are talking about the same Toys R Us that largely tried to sell Combiner Wars Deluxes at $22.99 toward the end.
Two Pack TF5 Legion Figure $14.99
These are probably going to be arranged as versus packs, and may wind up including older Legion-size molds to help pad things out, though of course this is complete speculation right now.
Two Pack TF5 Cybertron Deluxe $39.99
Looks like two packs of Deluxes, maybe special Cybertronian alt mode forms of some kind, or possibly just special decos on the regular molds. If that's more the case and these are a kind of "special mission" set, that starts to become very suggestive about things that might happen in the movie. Speaking of which...
"TF5 FG CYBRTRN PLAN" TF5 Figure Cybertron Planet $149.99
It seems safest to guess this will be a big playset type thing, and as I said just above, becomes highly suggestive about movie content if an entire expensive playset or somesuch is being centered around Cybertron for the line, even if it is a Toys R Us exclusive.
Finally, there's a listing for a possible rerelease of MP10 Masterpiece Optimus, priced at $159.99. Though the price has increased since the last time Toys R Us carried that toy, no doubt some collectors will be happy to see it have another go on Toys R Us shelves!
So, lots to think about here. Very likely we will see at least a few things relating to this list become clearer when Toy Fair rolls around, in just over one month's time! TFormers and ENI will be there as always to bring you coverage from the event, so always stay right with us for all the latest!
