The UK toy retailer Smyths has posted a listing for the Tiny Turbo Changers, the new transforming blind-bagged figures revealed last weekend at Toy Fair 2017! Thanks to these listings, we know a couple of new things about these, including their size and an interesting detail about their packaging that could hint at a Transformers: The Last Knight mobile game. Keep reading to see!
Tiny Turbo Changers Series 1 figures deliver fan-favourite characters from Transformers: The Last Knight movie in a collectible 4cm. Get ready for an epic line-up of new convertible figures. Each figure converts in 1 to 3 easy steps. Grab a piece of the Transformers lore and become part of the legend.
So we now know the height is 4 centimeters, or a little over an inch. Not bad for a $3 transforming blindbagged toy!
If you look at the photo, you may recognize the symbol in the corner from the Tiny Titans blindbagged figure line. in case you're not familiar with those, each one includes both a figure and a trading card - a card which, as the little symbol might show, has a symbol to be scanned into the RID app game.
The RID app has lasted unusually long for a TF mobile game, going live at the beginning of the series and updating with every significant new release of products. Perhaps Hasbro is looking to replicate that success. Or perhaps someone in the art department just reused those assets for Tiny Turbo Changers. We'll find out in April at the latest!
