Transformers The Movie: What Might've Been - Extended 'The Touch' Sequence Mockup Posted To YouTube

It's been known for a while now that a few scenes were cut from Optimus Prime's infamous charge as set to Stan Bush's "The Touch" in 1986's The Transformers: The Movie thanks to surviving storyboards and scripts of the full sequence. Now, TFNation has posted a mockup that goes the extra mile, coloring those storyboards and adding sound effects and music to them to give a better idea of what the full sequence would've looked like. Keep reading to see!

During our Friday night panel Jim Sorenson, Chris Mcfeely & David Wallace talked about the early drafts of Transformers The Movie and what might have been. While no animation of these early versions exist there were some parts from the finished movie that never made it past the story-boarding phase.

He is a quick look at what might have been.

Thank you to Jim Sorenson for use the storyboards.
Thanks to Andrew Turnbull for his work colouring them.
Video and sound editing by David Wallace.
