The teaser opens with an attack on a battleship battalion from above, (outer-space perhaps?) Balls of fire rain down. Its like Pearl Harbor, only these are not bombs dropped by the Japanese. If my hunch is correct, these are robots in disguise. The unfriendly, destruction loving kind.

Cut to Sam on the lamb from something big and menacing. He has found a place to hide behind a wrecked automobile. What does he see?

Next scene we are rejoined with Captain Lennox and the boys from the NSAF obviously gearing up for something nasty. They're ready with tank in tow to take on whatever it is they've just sighted.

From there, it's off to the Chinese factory that was converted from the factory on the Bethlehem, PA shoots. There's helicopters in pursuit of a robot gone awry. It's hard to make out exactly who this guy is, he's definitely new to the scene. Judging from the large circular treads / wheels, this robot looks a lot like the unnamed Constructicon, rumored to be Devastator, prototype action figure we reported on earlier. He's not keen on those helicopters either. As you can see, he makes scrap metal of one of them in short order.

In comes Ravage. Writer Roberto Orci confirms that's what they're calling him. He IS one hell of a beast-bot. Emerging from the sea of all places! This kitty is a real charmer of a robot with one big ol' eye, an insane number of teeth that'd scare a great white, and BFG hidden behind all those chompers. Phew, all indications are this guy's going to really mix things up. I cannot wait to see how.

Back to Sam, there's a brief scene with who I guess is his father, Ron Witwicky. Things seem dire, with a command from Sam urging him to get out: "You don't stop. You don't hide. You run."

Just as we were tipped off with the leaked Audi R8 action figure shots, there is a new robot. He appears with a fantastic entry, crashing through the side of a building in a ball of hell-fire. Like a ballerina of chaos, from the mess of fire and debris, a form emerges. Just visible enough to make out a robot transforming into it's alternate mode, it leaves just a glimpse of an Audi logo as it speeds away. Note: there are two or three other bots following the Audi in the background, similar to the video we saw a while back. One is rumored to be Arcee and or her team.

Cut to Sam again, this time he's under Starscream's robot wings. Dwarfed by the Decepticon, the threat is very real. There's a scuffle and the camera cuts to a shot of Sam pinned to the ground by a giant robot hand...

However, it's not entirely clear if that is Starscream's hand. As the camera pulls away, there's more revealed. A shot of what looks like tank treads and hieroglyphics in the background give reason to ask, could it be Megatron?

Biff, Bamm, Powww! Optimus Prime takes a severe beating from an unknown robot. Judging from the subsequent scene. I'm going to guess its the Constructicon (Devastator) that's quite literally punching this bigbot's lights out. The stills depict the degree of destruction in excruciating detail. With shattered windows and the entire front end of his battle mask smashed. Let us hope there's hope for the Autobots in this movie.

The teaser wraps up with the towering Constructicon Transformer barreling through a highway overpass at another part of the fictional Chinese city. The scene was filmed at the Queensway Beach in Long Beach, CA. Optimus Prime is in pursuit of the monster-robot that's obliterating everything in its path without hesitation. Concrete, cars and utter destruction explode in every direction as gigantic arms and legs flail and stomp on everything in their path. It's hard to see what's going on, but as the mega-bot emerges from the rubble, we see more of him that reveals a robot with those giant wheels not unlike the Terex RH400 steam shovel.
