Ah yes, Storm Bringer Voyager Bludgeon, a powerful, evil, and insane mayhem attack squad member, ahem Doom N’ Destruction member

When the opportunity arose to do a 2 pack with Ruckus, I wanted to ensure we gave some new parts to Bludgeon to pay homage to @sketchyfigueroa design , the Don of Transformers. I know I couldn’t be the only one that wanted this design in hand so this was a perfect opportunity to make it happen cap’n! Shu san helped me bring this incarnation to life which I feel really does capture the decepticon creepy vibe, as you already know the great Yuya san worked on the original Tarn mold.

His new parts are his head, chest, and waist peice and the color scheme leaned more towards green then grey. As Ive mentioned in the past, the battle of achieving pantone colors in production can somtimes be a mixed mystery bag. You gotta embrace it and constantlly lose sleep over it.

My early idea for this Bludgeon was to try to create a turret shell peice to make his alt mode more like the design. I showcased the build I quickly made at my desk to see what I was going for, even though we couldn’t fit the turret shell I did some alt mode pics as to how I’m displaying this Bludgeon in tank mode. Much like Storm Bringer Bludgeon, I’ve also wanted to resurrect Thunderwing for a while now, but how does one accomplish this character and satisfy all parties?!
