Generations / NewsMedia support for Transformers Generations will continue, it seems! A tweet from @NXOnNetflix has revealed that Netflix will be running the animated series to be based on the current War For Cybertron trilogy storyline. The series will come in 2020, and is said to feature an "all-new animation style". Details are quite light at the moment, but it will reportedly be starting with an "origin story" presumably detailing the rise of Autobots and Decepticons and the beginnings of the war.
This makes it sound like the show will start by using the setting of Siege in particular, even though by this time in 2020 we should theoretically be in to part two of War For Cybertron in terms of toy branding. Sounds like at least as the timing goes, it's a bit Machinima again. We'll bring you more details on this as they develop.
