We'll admit: of the social media platforms, we tend to use Instagram the least, perhaps partly out of resentment that this is not in fact the name of a S'mores delivery service. (We have all missed out.) But when we went to look for the original source of the Q&A about War For Cybertron: Siege Leader Class Ultra Magnus reposted by TFW2005... we couldn't find it. We're thinking it was perhaps posted prematurely and then pulled. Either that or we can't navigate Instagram. 50-50 shot. But! We did come across a different Q&A slide that we previously hadn't seen anywhere else, hinting at the possibility of another Titan-class figure for 2019! Keep reading for more details on all of the above.
EDIT: Thanks to aspiring toy designer and professional younger person Eric Crownover (AKA @EricCrowbar on Twitter), we can now report that you can find the Q&A as part of Transformers Official's Story, which you access by clicking their profile picture on their Instagram page. Thanks, Eric!
Ultra Magnus is revealed to be 8" tall - shorter than Leaders we've seen to date, perhaps unsurprisingly. His robot mode is based off of the original G1 animation model with details taken from Japanese concept art from the 1980s (We're betting the work of Studio OX.) His alternate mode is based on the 2001 Robots In Disguise Ultra Magnus, known in Japan's Car Robots as God Magnus.
We also learn that Siege Voyager Optimus Prime has a hover mode! Ultra Magnus, being from different tooling, does not, but he can give Micromasters a ride on his trailer. Also, while Magnus himself does not have a hammer, a hammer will be included among the Battle Masters class for Magnus to arm himself with. Lastly, they used a question about Magnus' shoulder cannons - presumably the missile launchers - to highlight the COMBAT parts-interchanging system to say that the launchers could be replaced with cannons.
Lastly, we're told to look for something big on the horizon in response to the question about Titan class figures! With New York Comic-Con being the normal place for these, we expect we'll learn about next year's Titan in a few weeks.
