Following the Variety of reports from Hollywood entailment new outlets. Paramount has officially cancelled what was to be the 7th movie, counting "Bumblebee: The movie", in the Transformers franchise. What's already pretty much well known to have been axed following the demise of the now in-famous "writers room". A "reset" was announced during Hasbro Investor Preview Day event last February. Ironically, the literal pun, "The Last Night", appears to be a real thing.
Weibo user NOTRAB
has posted images of a pair of limited-edition figures released only in China: customers who purchased from Hasbro China's TaoBao store on May 15th had a shot at limited edition versions of Deluxe Bumblebee and Leader Blackout! BBTS have done it again, bringing hard to find exclusive Transformers toys to fans everywhere. They have just posted a pre-order page for the Transformers Dinobot Deluxe Snarl that is a Universal Studios exclusive item, available only in their them park shops, until now!
Just up on the Chinese social site, Biadu. We have a look at the Unmasked Optimus Prime Studio Series figure revealing the Autobot Leader's face sculpt.
This is the second time a mask-less figure has surfaced. Now, it is showing up in China. Could this be a cancelled prototype, a special edition, or a variant? Check out the image gallery with looks at comparison shots and more in the gallery below.
Even quicker than expected, we have first looks at the transformation processes for both Megatron and Brawl from Voyager wave 2 of the Studio Series line. Megatron has a quick process from tank-thing to robot, taking under two minutes, and using some classic Lockdown tricks to expand the robot out of the fairly compact alternate form. Brawl similarly finished in about two minutes, though appeared rather more of a fiddly process to go from tank to robot than Megatron. Both are part of longer videos that include other toys, but the videos open on the new Voyagers, so you can check them out easily - find the videos embedded below!
