WHO'S THAT AUTOBOT? New Siege Artwork Of Unknown Character Turns Up On South African Retailer Website

EDIT: We've identified the character, and it's not what we thought - Click here! ORIGINAL STORY: South African retailer Toy Adventures had a couple of interesting banners for their Transformers and Generations sections today, displaying what appears to be official artwork for a character that, at present, we can't identify. We think he's probably a Micromaster, because that circle on the chest would make a great place for a small screw, but literally all we have at present is the image. Keep reading for some speculation, and the images!

Early speculation has pointed to Roller due to a few points, foremost of which is the presence of Optimus Prime behind him in one of the two images. But, that could just be for the marketing recognition value. However, the red circles on the head and the use of black are both aspects of IDW's take on Roller, and the use of blue could effectively tie the G1 Roller (Optimus Prime's trailer scout car) and IDW Roller together, conceptually. Odds are good we won't know the identity of this character until New York Toy Fair 2019 at the earliest.
