Generation 1 Japan / BLOGsBack in August of 2008, ebay seller Ministry Of Toys posted an auction for what they called a "Lucky Draw Black Rodimus Prime". However, this figure has never been seen again since. Judging from the tray, it is more likely to be a test-shot left over from the 2001 Takara C-77 reissue or a 2004 Hasbro Commemorative Series CVII reissue put in the C-77 package.
