Following SDCC, the summer convention season is in full bloom with Japan's Wonderfest 2019 kicking off this weekend, July 28th. As always, Takara Tomy are there with some new Transformers goodies to show off. They are still reeling from the wrath of Bumblebee over there, so we're not seeing much new in the way of product. But they did pull out the BIG gun with the War For Cybertron Unicron prototype on display along with the newly announced, MP Lio Convoy and other Beast Wars characters including Blackarachnia, Megatron, Dinobot and Cheetor.
Hopefully there will be some news to come, like the rumored MP Beast Wars Scorponok. Check out the first batch of images collected from Facebook in the gallery below. Stay tuned for more Transformers news from Wonderfest 2019 Summer as it happens.

Dengeki Hobby has posted their coverage of TakaraTomy's exhibit at Summer Wonderfest, including a good look at the Transformers products on display! Some notable highlights, besides the Seacons are samples of Siege Spinister, Rung, Rumble (the red one) and Ratbat all in full plastic colors. The samples seen previously at SDCC were testshots that had been hand painted to reflect their intended decos.
