Wonderfest Winter 2019 - MP-46 Beast Wars Masterpiece Blackarachnia More Photos

We've got more up close shots of Beast Wars Masterpiece Blackarachnia, which we now know to be MP-46, thanks to 软体动物 on Weibo. Unfortunately while we can see more angle and more detail of the prototype Masterpiece, we don't seem to be able to learn much from it. Indeed, as you look from the side, all that's particularly evident is how there doesn't seem to be any particular volume the spider mode might conceivably emit from during transformation.

We'd tend to expect explicit partsforming would be omitted from Masterpiece design, which would just leave the possibility of what would amount to a frightening exercise of piecing together a spider body shell from numerous panel bits, perhaps built around the bulk of the robot legs and arms. Or, to look at it in a more humorous way, maybe there's no beast mode model shown yet because they haven't quite figured out how to transform it. We're kidding here. probably.

Being just a couple hours in to the public portion of this winter's Wonderfest, we've already had quite a bit of interesting stuff turn up - much of which has opened more questions than it has done anything else. Could there be more to come still...? Stay with us for ongoing updates!
