Concept Images of Movie Bumblebee and Scorponok

TFG2 member "wesleylc" has posted concept art for Bumblebee and Scorponok during the pre-production stages of Transformers.

The art shows that Scorponok was not all too different during the planning stages, while Bumblebee looks radically different (and rather sleeker) than what the figure turned out to be.

However, it's easy to understand why they went with the prevailing design, since the 1976 Chevrolet Camaro and 2007 concept versions needed to be recognizable when Bumblebee was in robot mode.

Anyone else think it's possible that the "submarine," might really have been the original concept for the Nemesis, which also used to be underwater, and opened a hatch into the ocean?

Cool. I wasn't expecting to get a reporter credit today. And I just said ZE LITTLE ONE. It was reported "elsewhere" as Scrapper. However, I took notice of the floodlights and drew comparisons that may or may not be there. It does at least look different from the final Scrapper design ... read more

That version of Fallen is awesome. Definitely a F117 Stealth fighter as an alt mode, I recognize the cockpit area near his groin. Soundwave really should have been used more and made an earth appearance as that truck.
