Oh ok, so it's an homage to Tote, pass! My hasbro classics Ironhide stands in for Tote quite well.

Well, with that mold you could make black Ironhide, green Ratchet, SG Soundwave, or maybe Energon Tow Line. I really wasn't expecting them to pick Tote.

I could only guess it was Tote. I wonder if they'll make a First Aid next. Any other vans besides the black Cherry Vanette?

BBTS has just revealed a limited run remold of iGear's Weapon Specialist. 500 pieces. Slight recolor of Weapon Specialist with a new head, made to look like Micromaster Tote! He only comes with one gun, and sells for $99.99(about $30 less than Weapon Specialist). (link) Patrol ... read more

At least the head isn't based on US comic and animation Chromedome, such an awful take on him, the japanese Headmasters series had such a better animation model for Chromedome than US rebirth animation model.

Could be worse, they could be going off US Marvel G1 comic colors. I just started re-reading that series lately... OMG some huge mistakes in there lol.

With the way they color comics today, I'm not surprised there's some confusing as to the coloring on MTMTE Chromedome.

Possibly. Though I'd say by trying to do both at once, they ended up doing neither correctly and it would have been better to commit to one or the other and get it right. Although, I think it they were looking to IDW as a color model, then they should have had the arms and head be matching color... read more

As Headmaster Don pointed out during a recent RFC Mini-Cast, MMC's Carnifex is a very IDW take on Overlord. If that was putting you off as well, you may be interested in these upgrade kit photos that MMC has just posted! Carnifex Continuum adds a fair number of G1 features back into your third-party unofficial Overlord toy - keep reading for the photos and details.
Striker Noir is the latest figure to join the MT Cross Dimension Series and is a black repaint of MTCD-01 Striker Manus. Striker Noir transforms from robot to semi truck and includes 2 axe weapons and a transforming wind vane gun. Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, 3P Loves Springer, and they think you do too! This week on the RFC Mini-cast: John, Don, Mellvarr and Rob Clay discuss: Why does 3P love Springer and not Arcee? Plus we analyze IDW’s impact on Transformers and Revolution’s effectiveness.

Dean Lee on Facebook has a high detail gallery up for the upcoming first product from the Fanshobby group. Arch Enemy is the debut of the Master Builder series, offering a Masterpiece scale take on original Robots in Disguise's Scourge, or Black Convoy for the Car Robots enthusiasts. A solo Car Robots/RID Masterpiece may seem a little odd, but it's hard to deny that the actual product looks super nice and captures the design well. We've mirrored some of the gallery, keep reading to find it below and get a good look at this figure!
Wrapping up our look at ToyCraft's coverage of Ani-Expo HobbyFree we have a catch-all for the remaining third party groups that were covered. It looks like no one had a lot new to show, and most of what did turn up under the other brands was far enough to be in color sample stages. A GCreations Optimus-alike could be seen, X-Transbots' not-Cosmos, plus testshots of their Trailbreaker and Hoist figures, a couple modes of DX9's try at Sixshot, and more things that we've seen to some capacity already. The final round of shots is mirrored below, keep reading to catch up with the rest!
