On the blog site of Japanese Idol Mei Morishita, she has revealed one of TakaraTomy's Wonder Festival 2008 Winter Exclusive Transformers Movie Arcee G1 Color Edition.
These will be exclusively sold at the event on February 24, 2008 at the TakaraTomy booth and limited to 1,000 pieces.
No price has been listed but expect this to retail any where from 2,500 to 3,000 Yen at the event.

Not the same as the production run figure, but as far as repaints go doesn't seem that different either. I'll have to see what the bot looks like with the white mixed in.
Not that I'd ggo after this one, I still haven't bought the original version- though I was tempted.

The original production run figure is pretty much the nicest Arcee we've gotten to date. Sure the head is a little weird, but it really is the original Energon transformation scheme given some better articulation and a nicer sculpt pretty much because the deluxe size class gives the figure a chance to breathe.
I don't know as it needs a black redeco, a G1 redeco, etc. The movie figures haven't translated so well to G1 redecos so far. The aesthetics are just too different. If they were going to do it, I'd much prefer they gave her a new head sculpt to help bridge the gap.

Are you kidding about the G1 redecos? They look good. Jazz being the best one. I'd like to see the winter Arcee in robot mode.

I have the regular and the battle damaged versions of this figure and am going to leave it at that for her mold. Besides I guarantee you that scalpers will pick up as many of these as possible to sell for an outragious amount of money as there will only be 1000 made. My suggestion is to get some white acrylic paint and custom make one yourself from the general realease version if you're desperate for one of these.
